To temper the cold, windy weather and prolong “swimming season” in spring and summer.
The Solution
Families love to go swimming during the warmer months of the year, but in order to extend the fun times, the Faulring “Bubble” was designed. This unique device, while simple in aesthetics, was successfully designed to work in conjunction with our Parabolic Solar Collectors, to protect the swimming pool from Mother Nature’s cold, windy hand. The “bubble” essentially harnesses the sun’s heat, much like a greenhouse, to keep the pool warm; it not only performed its duty, but it also served as a status symbol and landmark for the community.
